Awareness of your posture is vital in a meditation practice. Sit in the Easy Pose (page 65) and relax the eyes. Close them, and concentrate on your inhalation and exhalation. Invariably, your attention will wander. Intruding thoughts will pop up while you’re trying to concentrate on your breathing cycle. Don’t squelch or fixate upon them. Gently bring your attention back to your breathing.
