YOGA AND CONSCIOUS COOKERY

YOGA AND CONSCIOUS COOKERY

In November Michelle Levi and Ollie Frame are leading another of their successful retreats that offer participants a more immersive experience in the world of yoga. As well as twice-daily asana classes, the schedule includes Ayurvedic cookery, pranayama, meditation and yoga nidra. To deepen the experience, there are periods of silence, and each day ends with the singing of uplifting and heart-opening bhajans and chants from the yogic tradition. With the retreat taking place in the beautiful rolling countryside of Devon, there is also time put aside to enjoy walks in nature, and to wind down in the sauna and outdoor hot tub. TESCO TO OFFER YOGA

Tesco is hoping to offset the mundanely of the weekly food shop by turning its out-of-town supermarkets into ‘exciting retail destinations’ offering free community spaces complete with everything from yoga to cookery classes.

Tesco’s UK managing director Chris Bush has admitted the bid to create exciting retail destinations is an attempt to lure shoppers off the internet and back into the shops.
