GOD IS PRESENT IN HIS HOLY NAME
Krishna, the Supreme Lord is present in His holy name which is His incarnation in the form of sound. In other words, because God appears in His name, wherever the chanting of Hare Krishna is being performed, God is present in sound and thus the entire atmosphere becomes purified and transcendentally surcharged. The Vedas say. “Gokula dhama ‘vibhu’ Krishna sama.” This means that because the Lord is Absolute, therefore His abode of Gokula Dhama, His name, fame, qualities, form, associates, paraphernalia, and pastimes everything connected to the Supreme Lord is also Absolute, because everything connected to God is non-different from God being of the same spiritual quality of omnipotence and omnipresence. “In this Age of Kali, the holy name of the Lord, the Hare Krishna maha-mantra, is the incarnation of Lord Krishna. Simply by chanting the holy name, one associates with the Lord directly. Anyone who does this is certainly delivered.” (Cc.Adi.17.22)
God is not limited by the material laws. He is unlimited and completely transcendental to material laws, which are under His control. Similarly, His name is also not in any way limited, but Absolute and therefore spiritually dynamic and full of transcendental potency. When one chants the Hare Krishna mantra, God is actually present in His holy name; one simply has to realize His presence. Once ones heart is purified by chanting the Lord’s holy names, one can realize this truth, at that moment one has achieved perfect samadhi. Such purified consciousness is the ultimate state of spiritual achievement for the living entity.

The Lord personally told Shrila Narada Muni. “I am not in the heart of the yogi, and I am not in the forest where the sages are meditating, but I am present where My devotees are chanting My glories.”
In this present age of Kali-yuga, the dark age of hypocrisy, lies, cheating and quarrel, the method of liberation prescribed by the Vedic scriptures is to chant the Holy names of God continually. God is non-different from His Name, because He is Absolute, all-powerful and all-pervading. The Kali-santarana Upanisad it is said. “The sixteen names of the Hare Krishna maha-mantra – ‘Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare, Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare’ destroy all the inauspiciousness of the age of Kali. This is the conclusion of all the Vedas.” Because the Lord’s holy name is Absolute and all-powerful, He is present in His name by His unlimited potency. The utterance of the name “Krishna” is the establishment of a transcendental sound vibration that goes beyond time and place and emanates from the transcendental spiritual platform It is not a material sound. One, who chants the holy name in a pure and humble state of mind, is also transported to that same transcendental spiritual platform, automatically. By this simple process of chanting the holy names of God, as contained in the Maha-mantra, the ‘Great Chant of deliverance’ Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare – Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare, one’s life will become sublime and no other process is required accept nama-sankirtan.
