Blooper Team did a great job with the Silent Hill 2 remake a couple of years ago. Now, the studio is reportedly going back to the original, with a Silent Hill 1 Remake planned for 2027.
According to MP1st, Blooper Team has been working on the new Silent Hill Remake under the codename Project Noise, with two actors already attached – Gabrielle Fritz and Jade Matthew.
Silent Hill first released in 1999, marking the first step for this long-running horror franchise. While there isn't a specific release window yet, it is believed that the game will come out in 2027, in keeping with Konami's ambition to have a new Silent Hill game coming out each year.
Aside from the Silent Hill 2 Remake, Konami has also recently launched spin-offs like Silent Hill F and Silent Hill Townfall. However, there does not appear to be a brand-new numbered game in the series in the works for the time being.
KitGuru Says: Blooper Team did a great job with Silent Hill 2, so I have no doubt they'll succeed in reinventing the first game too.
