A Sikh for nearly thirty years, she teaches classes in Kundalini Yoga, meditation, and pre- and post-natal care.
Gurmukh also created the popular video series The Method: Pre- and Post-Natal Yoga and authored The Eight Human Talents HarperCollins, 1997. The teacher then slowly unwinds her students toward the climax of the practice, which is ultimately meditation. Meditation here is often accompanied by the sound of a gong while in savasana, or corpse pose, which helps bring you deeper into your own subconscious as you rest.
