A NOTE ON SODIUM
While we’re on the subject of minerals, salt (which contains sodium) may add zest and life to certain foodsbut your body doesn’t like too much of it!
So please pass the saltshaker . right on past you. Or at least limit the sprinkling! The unique flavors of food will make themselves known to you once they’re not overpowered by salt. Fast food and processed food are also high in sodiumchoosing fresh, home-cooked food can help you limit your salt.
