Imagine you are driving a nice car on a bright sunny day down a highway. You have your sunglasses on and your favourite music playing. Hardly any other cars around and you are daydreaming of some idyllic life.

All of a sudden a car coming along at great speed cuts right across the front of your car and shoots off up the slip road.

You are woken from your reverie, swerve, slow down and come to your senses. And immediately you seek to shout after the other driver.

Who has gone out of sight and cannot hear a word that you are saying.

The truth of the matter is that YOU are responsible for your state:

• You were not listening out for danger

• You were not looking out for danger

• Your mind was not on your driving

• You were travelling too fast

As a consequence of YOUR actions you suffered the bad driving of another person.
